The aims of the Forensic Mental Health Services at Alpha Hospitals:

• To develop forensic services that provide culturally sensitive care for Deaf mentally disordered offenders.
• To conduct risk assessments and develop effective management strategies for this client group.
• To provide therapeutic and social programmes in a communicating milieu to enable Deaf patients to be rehabilitated.
• To employ staff who are valued for their personal experiences and insight of Deafness.
• To implement a comprehensive education and training strategy to meet the service needs.
