The Royal Association for Deaf people (RAD) has ten centres for deaf people in Essex, London and the South East, which offer access to services and social activities in British Sign Language. Interpreting and communication support is provided by the RAD Interpreting Service, which is a CACDP registered Agency. The RAD Advice Service facilitates access to advice and information in BSL and is accredited with the Community Legal Services Quality Mark. RAD provides training in a range of subjects including British Sign Language and Deaf and Disability Equality. RAD also offers pastoral care, social activities and support for Deaf people with other disabilities. A national information service is available through the RAD website.
